The Kentucky Falls is a breathtaking sight, as the falls sparkle and dance majestically at each viewpoint. The trail meanders along Kentucky Creek, through old growth Douglas-fir and Western hemlock.
Trail description:
The trail descends 760 feet to a view of 80-90 foot twin waterfalls, spilling over the cliff just before their confluence, Kentucky Creek merging with the North Fork Smith River. About a mile down the trail you can see the Upper Kentucky Falls. Be careful as sections of trail are steep and narrow.
